Gateway Arch, St. Louis, MO

THE Arch (implied), St. Louis, MO  (25 Jan 2014)
... when in St. Louis, the Gateway Arch is a MUST see. I loved going to the top.
This was the second time I visited; I am always delighted by its beauty, and
astounded by engineering feat that the monument is.

Wow....great shots! Especially the top one! One day I hope to see this arch in person.

Hi Tash! A very fine creative shot of the arch! I'm not sure I'd be able to make it to the top, though. I get a little nervous on a step-stool!

Tash, your first photo of the arch is exceptional. I have seen it a couple of times from the ground but have never gone up in it. Your composition is first rate!

Thanks for your recent visits. I am in Naples for the winter but I occasionally post pictures from previous trips, like the Apartheid museum photo yesterday. The only Naples library building I have gone into was the Collier County library I showed about two weeks ago. And your squadron of pelicans is beautiful. My pelican was tamer, hanging around and giving me plenty of chances to take his photo.

Be well and turn your clock forward tonight!

That arch is really, REALLY high up, isn't it?

How close did that plane get? I've been (pre-digital camera) but on a cloudy day. It is a marvel.

Very impressive shot and somewhat dizzying.
